Breed description
The Kamori goats are very popular in Pakistan, the city of Sind, where they were created. Their number in the country far exceeds the number of goats of other breeds bred there.
Kamori goats are very similar in appearance to other Pakistani goats. They are characterized by long, hanging ears, a humpbacked nose. Males look a little different, they have long legs, which are much larger than the length of the legs of females. In their growth, the Kamori goats are gaining more than a meter. There are also such representatives of the species that can grow to an adult.
The head in shape resembles a small melon of the same oval shape, round and smooth. There are eyes on the sides, a neat mouth at the end of the head, and small horns grow from the back of the head. There are cases when the head does not rise much above the straight body, but there is also a big difference when the long neck separates the head from the body. The body is straight, without bends. At the back, a small tail grows, which is raised up.
Coloring can also be different. Exist:

- the taste value of meat;
- widely used in dairy production, as well as in meat;
- rapid weight gain, which reaches 100 kg;
- all weather conditions are easily tolerated.
Camori goats have the following disadvantages:
- the high price of purebred individuals, low cost is found only for hybrids, which are widely distributed in neighboring countries;
- low compatibility with meat production.
Breeding Features
Now, to meet purebred goats Kamori in Russia is a huge rarity. The average price of a kid can exceed 200,000 rubles. Therefore, not every farmer can afford to breed the breed in his territory, with subsequent work on production.
Goats easily maintain their productivity, which is already at an altitude, under not very favorable climate conditions, and poor nutrition. Even in the case of living in unfavorable conditions, individuals feel quite comfortable.
Females of the breed have a bright, prominent udder. Depending on the size of the female, one and a half to six liters of milk can be obtained per day.
Reviews
Elena, 43 years old, farmer, Wedge. Not so long ago my dream came true. Directly from Pakistan, my goat - Kamori flew in. She went through all the necessary quarantines, vaccinations, and after 7 months she settled on my farm. In the first quarantine month, she lived in a stall, next to a horse. At first, I was worried that she alone would not feel comfortable, but was mistaken. Very charming. Summer came, and the goat grew, matured. Long legs, beautiful body shape. It gives a lot of milk, and I do not regret at all that I acquired it.
Irina, 46 years old, farmer, Aleksin. Much can be said about them, but I will manage to do what I like most about them, and the other characteristics are justified too. I really like milk - not just sweet, but really!
